Apple's iPad Preview
Ever since I was a kid I just loved all those Sci-Fi movies and TV series, especially when they showed all those really cool Sci-Fi gadgets stuff that made me all jumpy in my seat.
One of the gadgets was this writing pad like computer that all Sci-Fi movies and TV series characters used to walk with. It was usually a super thin computer they could do a lot of cool with, like controlling spacecrafts, robots and talk with other people in a video chat.
The really cool thing is that all these Sci-Fi gadgets appear in real life!! Yesterday Apple announced the release of their first touchpad portable computer which they called iPad. The iPad in first look simply looks like a really oversized iPhone but a closer look reveals some really nice features it can do.
What apple intended the iPad for is to give it's user a really easy approach to Web surfing, pictures viewing and most of all Books reading. Now I know it may sound odd to all of you, but in the few last years there are big issues about reading books electronically.
The iPad has a 9.7 inch touch screen that enables you to do all the stuff the iPhone screen enables to do, such as enlarging the screen with both fingers, rotating pictures and tilting it for a horizontal view or vertical view. All these features give you a really good way to read eBooks and watch movies properly.
The bad thing about the iPad is that it doesn’t have any web camera which is essential in any web computes these days. In addition the $500 price tag it has is extremely high for what it gives. In the same price tag you could get a really nice portable computer that will be able to do a lot more.
