1. Tap your emotions. - Your unconscious mind is always taking in a lot of information that we are not even aware of and processes it very quickly. Memory can be linked to a sight or even a smell.
2. Don't think under pressure. - Being anxious or nervous can cloud up you mind, give yourself plenty of time to prepare for a test or a speech.
3. Consider alternative points of view. - The more you know about a topic, every side of it, the better your arguement.
4. Challenge your preferences. - If you like to study using flash cards, change it up and try another study habit. What your used to isn't always the best way.
5. Take long showers. - This gives you time to yourself to literally turn off and just think.
6. Be skeptical of you memories. - Scientists have proved that our memories are not always 100% right, like eye witness reports. Think about what you know not what you think you remember.
7. Eat Right. - Brain food and lots of it.
8. Study your mistakes. - When you get a test back focus on the answers you got wrong, those are the ones to pinpoint and work on.
9. Go ahead and daydream. - Daydreaming enhances creativity and activates that part of the brain, joining everyone in the thinking process.
